Greg Gorman workshop

This past weekend I was fortunate to attend a photography workshop put on by the iconic Greg Gorman through Vancouver Photo Workshops. I want to take photographs that reflect the personality within the image, which of course is what Greg does best. There were great photographers in the class and we had very good models. Interestingly, I took tons of photos of the models but only a few of the other photographers, but there is more personality and interest in the other photographers. It's important to relax and not try as hard. When I'm photographing them I think that it's ok if those ones don't work out so I feel comfortable trying something different. I have been hesitant to do high contrast images even though those tend to be the ones I really love to look at. So I'll keep pushing that as well!!
