Delta Photo Club met on Granville Street instead of holding their regular group meeting. We all had fun with night street photography and the rain added some great colour reflections to all the lights
.
My assignment, along with two photos that tell a story, was to capture someone running. I shot a skateboarder and a cyclist and I think they go together with the runner as well for transportation down Granville St.
Capture was a very cool event in Vancouver for October and a couple photographic installations are still up on Granville so I took photos of them. I can't find out who did them, but I'm looking. The one with the toques looks like part of the Inside Out Project. The exhibition at the Vancouver Museum, An Evolutionary Look intoVancouver Street Photography, is still on as well and I hope to get to see that.
Unfortunately homelessness in Vancouver is a big problem.
