Harness racing at Fraser Downs

50mm, f2.8, 1/1250 sec, 8000 ISO Delta Photo Club, a local CAPA (Canadian Association of the Photographic Arts) club, had a meetup at Fraser Downs Racetrack. We photographed the pacers trackside during the night racing, which creates a challenge in photography. Here are a few of my images and the settings I used. I used my D4 and aperture priority with auto ISO. Ideally a 70-200mm f2.8 would be a good lens choice (fast speed and good range) but as I don't have one I used the 80-400mm f4.5-5.6 and then switched to my 50mm f1.4 as I didn't find the telephoto fast enough.
