Fine Art Photographer of the Year!

MPIO Photographer of the Year[/caption] Kerri-Jo is the Master Photographers International Fine Art Photographer of the Year. She also won seven Best in Class awards, including Black & White, Maternity, Pets, Fashion, Fine Art Freestyle, Editorial and Press, as well as Best Album (events). Twelve submitted images in various categories resulted in one Achievement Award, six Prestige Awards and five Awards of Distinction. Check out the winners' video:

Notes on the images: Vancouver Skytrain Tunnel is a long exposure (1/8th second) in the front of the skytrain braced against the window. Tension lines is coming south out of the Burrard skytrain tunnel and capturing the images also from the front of the train. I take out more detail with each reiteration of this image. Hijab is a photographic transfer onto canvas that was then painted. At the Docks is a digital pinhole image at the Steveston docks.
